Hague Water Conditioning of West Liberty was first established in 1995. The water softening business was initially a branch of Hague Quality Water International’s founder William R. Hague’s group of dealerships founded in 1960.

The water softener dealerships were located in Groveport, Beavercreek and West Liberty, Ohio. The water softener businesses were eventually managed and owned by William R Hague’s son, Jeff Hague.

In 2012 Bill Minken acquired the West Liberty branch from Jeff Hague, Bill had been Jeff’s long-time sales manager.

Bill Minken, In December of 2021, having been associated for 40 plus years with Hague Quality International as a sales person, sales manager, sales trainer and ultimately a Hague dealership owner, chose to spend more time at home to enjoy his wife, home and hobbies. He sold his business to partner Rex Wickline.
 In 2019, Bill had taken on Rex as a business partner with the intention of Wickline eventually purchasing the entire business. In 2022 Wickline became the sole owner of Hague Water Conditioning of West Liberty. 

Wickline’s background with Hague’s line of water softening products include 30 years at the Hague Quality Water International’s corporate office. 

Beginning his career in water softening by working on the manufacturing line, he quickly moved up to plant supervisor. Ultimately Rex became National Service Manager for Hague’s retail water softener division.

There isn’t one aspect of Hague’s water softening equipment or manufacturing process of which Wickline is unfamiliar.
In purchasing Hague Water Conditioning of West Liberty, Wickline retained the services of all of West Liberty’s long time employees including technicians, Terry, (30 years with the company) Brian 33 years with the company and office manager, Debbie a 25 year veteran of Hague of West Liberty. In 2022, Pat a 22 year employee of Hague’s corporate office was brought into the family for sales and marketing support.
